Allegations: IN JULY 2019, ACCOUNTS MANAGED BY GMO TEMPORARILY HELD POSITIONS IN LEAN HOG FUTURES CONTRACT IN EXCESS OF THE POSITION LIMITS ESTABLISHED BY THE CHICAGO MERCANTILE EXCHANGE ("CME") FOR SUCH CONTRACTS. WHILE THE OVERAGE WAS RELATIVELY SMALL AND PROMPTLY CORRECTED THE FOLLOWING DAY, THE CME SANCTIONED GMO $15,000 FOR EXCEEDING THE POSITION LIMITS AND REQUIRED DISGORGEMENT OF PROFITS RESULTING FROM THE POSITIONS HELD IN EXCESS OF THE LIMITS. Status: Final Sanction Detail: FINE OF $15,000 AND DISGORGEMENT OF $314,160 Summary: IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SETTLEMENT OFFER, GMO HAS BEEN ORDERED TO PAY A FINE IN THE AMOUNT OF $15,000 AND ORDERED DISGORGEMENT OF THE PROFIT IN THE AMOUNT OF $314,160 TO BE PAID BY JANUARY 7, 2020.
