Disciplinary disclosures
Allegations: IN OCTOBER 2014, ALGERT NOTIFIED THE SWEDISH FINANCIAL SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY (THE "SFSA") OF ONE NET SHORT POSITION HELD WITHIN ITS GLOBAL EQUITY MARKET NEUTRAL STRATEGY WHICH FELL BELOW A CERTAIN THRESHOLD. THE NOTIFICATION OCCURRED AFTER THE REQUIRED DATE AND WAS IMMEDIATELY REPORTED TO THE SFSA UPON DISCOVERY. IN JUNE 2015, ALGERT RECEIVED NOTICE FROM THE SFSA THAT THEY WOULD IMPOSE A FINE RELATING TO THE LATE REPORTING OF THE SHORT POSITION. ON JULY 3, 2015, ALGERT GLOBAL FILED AN APPEAL WITH THE SFSA WHICH WAS LATER DENIED BASED ON A RULING RECEIVED ON FEBRUARY 17, 2016. ALGERT PAID $25,113.79 FINE FOLLOWING THE ISSUANCE OF INVOICES BY THE SFSA. Status: Final Sanction Detail: ALGERT GLOBAL APPEALED THE CASE AND IT WAS AFFIRMED. ALGERT GLOBAL WAS ORDERED TO PAY A PENALTY FEE OF 200,000 SWEDISH KRONOR ($25,113.79 USD). Summary: ON JULY 3, 2015, ALGERT FILED AN APPEAL WITH THE SFSA WHICH WAS LATER DENIED BASED ON A RULING RECEIVED ON FEBRUARY 17, 2016. ALGERT PAID $25,113.79 FINE FOLLOWING THE ISSUANCE OF INVOICES BY THE SFSA.
